The quirky name of the contest and the prize of a windshield repair was a great way to tie in the prize and audience. Every entrant represented a qualified lead, and each photo gave the advertiser valuable data to use in their follow-up prospecting calls. They included a thank-you email with an exclusive offer for a windshield repair for entrants.

This trivia quiz from Planet S Magazine and sponsor, Avalon Auto Detailing, tested users on their knowledge of car maintenance. To drive participation, the sponsor gave away a detailing package valued at $250 to one lucky user. Plus, the email opt-in grew the sponsor’s database.
