The Idea
Country 10’s client, Porter’s Mountain View Supply, was looking for a way to gather opt-ins, leads, and promote an upcoming event at their location. The Country 10 team decided to craft a sweepstakes to achieve all of these goals.
The Execution
The sweepstakes took place about a week before the event at Porter’s location to give entrants a good amount of time to plan to attend. They also made sure to secure a great and relevant prize – a wood burning fire pit from Porter’s valued at $499.
They utilized invitation emails to get the word out – both about the sweepstakes and the upcoming event! They not only provided the date of the event, but mentioned it yet again in the ‘How to enter’ portion of the invite email, eluding to even more chances to win prizes at the event as well:
The registration form also included an opt-in for users to be added to the advertiser’s mobile/texting list where they could easily schedule an appointment:
After users submitted their entry, they received a thank you email with another reminder about the Porter’s Fireside Fest event:
The Results
County 10 helped Porter’s secure 198 leads from this campaign and also draw in a staggering 600 people to their event. Porter’s welcomed approximately 150 new customers, many of whom participated in the scavenger hunt portion of the event, which really helped drive foot traffic.
In total, they saw 69 transactions directly tied to the promotion and were able to book out their September schedule for fireplace cleanings – a huge win heading into the fall season.
Porter’s told the County 10 team that they were extremely pleased with the turnout and the quality of leads. The combination of in-person engagement and digital exposure helped them both convert new customers and build strong brand awareness heading into their busiest season. County 10 also walked away with a huge boost to their sales with $15,000 in revenue.
