This magazine secured a local realtor to sponsor this Free Mortgage Sweepstakes. This was a perfect campaign to directly target existing and potential local homeowners. The contest collected nearly 2,000 entries and added over 900 opt-ins to the magazine’s email database. But the most exciting result of the campaign – the sponsor received over 400 leads and 400 opt-ins!

KMSO-FM sold their Free Groceries for a Year sweepstakes to Missoula Fresh Market for $3,500. The station included three lead-generation questions on the entry form. These would provide the advertiser with valuable information on consumer information on shopping patterns. Both the station and the advertiser gained over 320 email opt-ins for their database.

This Home Free for a Year sweepstakes from WKTV-TV was sponsored by an All Women’s Renovation company from outside their DMA. The station generated $5,000 from the promotion. Plus, within the month of the contest the advertiser gave out $25,000 worth of estimates to local households. The station included lead-generation questions so the advertiser could easily identify their leads and reach out via email.

The Athens Messenger | Athens, OH

The Athens Messenger secured two local sponsors for this Free Groceries for a Year sweepstakes: a country market and a credit union. This sweepstakes provided a great opportunity for both advertisers to reach the local market with the branding across the campaign. The market advertiser also gave away five $100 gift cards to random entrants to drive even more traffic.

The entry form of the sweepstakes included three lead-generation questions to gather valuable user information about their shopping preferences, which was a benefit to both advertisers and the paper. Over 500 people entered the contest and 90% of those users opt-ed in for emails from the market advertiser!

The sweepstakes generated over 1,400 opt-ins for the advertisers email database and 80 leads requested to be contacted by the law firm for a free consultation!
