This end-of-year ballot from San Diego Home and Garden magazine and kitchen retailer Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery, asked users to vote for their favorite featured kitchen designs. To drive participation, users were able to vote once per day per category.

KTUU-TV partnered with a local counter construction business to give one lucky viewer $5,000 towards a brand new kitchen countertop. The registration form utilized email opt-ins for the advertiser and smart lead-generation questions, so the advertiser was able to identify interested homeowners.

Photo Contests

This photo contest run across a group of four Sinclair Broadcast Group radio stations in the Pennsylvania area asked viewers to submit photos of their outdated kitchen for a chance to win a $15,000 kitchen facelift. Then the team behind the promotion narrowed the contestants down to 20 and asked their viewers to vote. They included opt-ins for the station and sponsor to grow their email databases.
