Wild & Wonderful Summer Getaway Giveaway

New South Media | Granville, WV

I don’t know about you, but I am definitely looking forward to summer weather this year! With the tourism industry taking a hit from 2020 events, the team at New South Media pitched a contest to promote travel to West Virginia vacation destinations. The magazine secured Bavarian Inn, a resort and brewing company, as their title sponsor along with four additional prize sponsors for the runner-up prizes. Adding questions like “What is your favorite time of year to travel?” and “What is your typical budget for a WV trip or vacation?” the magazine learned valuable data to influence future magazine content. In the end, the sweepstakes brought in $2,500 and over 7,500 email opt-ins.
