Southwick’s Zoo is a local Boston client wanted to work with WKLB-FM through a digital campaign. The zoo wanted an opportunity for increased branding during their high-traffic summer season. WKLB started with a single quiz featuring images of animals at the zoo, but the client saw such great results, they immediately expanded this into a three-month long campaign featuring a new quiz each month. The client loved the educational aspect of the quiz as well the opportunity to grow their email list through an email opt-in. The quiz bundle turned into a $10,000 revenue win for WKLB.

How Much Fenway Park History Do You Know? – WEEI-FM

With the start of baseball season fast approaching, sports radio station, WEEI-FM, wanted a way to capitalize on the excitement of the Red Sox’ opening day. They created a quiz about Fenway Park, the stadium where the Red Sox play. To entice people to participate, the station included a prize of a VIP Baseball Experience for one lucky winner. Nearly 2,000 people participated.

Cumberland County Fair Giveaway Quiz – WKML-FM

The team at WKML secured a much larger spend – $12,000 up from $8,000 – on their county fair ad buy thanks to the inclusion of a quiz. They created a “What’s Your Fair Personality” quiz as a way to give out family 4 packs of all-inclusive fair passes. They also gathered insights for the fair about specific demographics they wanted to know. WKML’s quiz brought in over 1,000 entries and an extremely happy client.

What Jurassic World Dinosaur Are You? – KXLY-TV

A local movie theater wanted a contest to help promote the new movie, Jurassic World. This creative quiz asked users a series of questions with the outcomes being some of the dinosaurs featured in the film. The quiz registration page included email opt-ins for KXLY station newsletters as well as for the movie theater. Over 1,000 people took the quiz, and KXLY secured $1,500 in sponsorship revenue.

Beyond Human Limits Activity Quiz – KISS-FM

Science North, a local science museum, wanted a creative way to promote their latest exhibit, Beyond Human Limits. The station pitched the idea of a quiz highlighting the sports and activities featured in their exhibit. The registration form asked lead-gen survey questions to collect data for the science museum and quiz takers were emailed a follow-up thank-you coupon to drive foot traffic.

The Goldenrod York Beach Getaway – Seacoast Media Group

The Goldenrod is a local beach attraction in Maine looking forward to opening their 123rd summer season. Their quiz is filled with questions highlighting services from the Goldenrod, and they offered three great prizes. First place received a 2-night stay while second and third place received a Goldenrod gift card. More than 3,000 people entered the quiz, and the Goldenrod learned valuable consumer data with lead-gen questions.

Which Famous Pro Football Quarterback are You? – Canton Repository

Sponsored by the Canton Chamber of Commerce, this quiz built off the strength of the Pro Football Hall of Fame located in the city of Canton. This quiz asked a variety of football-related questions to pair users with a pro football hall-of-famer as their outcome. The Canton Repository secured $5,000 in sponsorship revenue and both the paper and the Chamber of Commerce had over 60% of users opt-in to their email database.
