In order to win the Taylor Swift tickets, entrants had to attend the Swiftdogs game and scan a QR code prompting them to the sweepstakes while at the game. Each inning, a name was announced as a qualifier (plus one more name at the end of the game). All ten qualifiers met on the field at the end of the game, each holding one of Taylor Swift’s albums. They broadcasted a spinning wheel on the big screen that landed on an album picture, and the qualifier holding that album won a pair of Taylor Swift sold out tickets! Then again for winner #2!
They received national (and local) coverage in the radio industry as well as in sports/baseball coverage, which lead to them breaking attendance records for Lincoln Pro Baseball, and succeeded in bringing them a brand new audience demographic, as many had never been to a Saltdogs game prior to this opportunity.
