The Idea
The teams at Leighton – Grand Forks wanted to provide their client, Sonyx Solutions, with a campaign that brought them leads and brand awareness. Sonyx Solutions was a fencing company that was new to the area, so they desperately needed leads to fill their sales pipeline.

The Execution
A syndicated sweepstakes with a great prize was just what this client needed. The Leighton – Grand Forks teams created a lead-generating sweepstakes with a prize of a brand new fence that ran on all 5 of their stations. The registration form was used to collect both necessary demographic information and necessary lead-generating data that Sonyx Solutions could use to boost their sales outreach. An extra chance option for liking and following Sonyx Solutions on Facebook was also included to increase participation and the client’s social media following.

To drum up excitement and participation, the Leighton – Grand Forks teams promoted the sweepstakes on-air, via email, and on social media. They sent 2 invitation emails to their entire promotions audience and posted on social media 3 times per each station. Talk about getting the word out!

The Results
Through this multi-media, syndicated sweepstakes campaign, the Leighton – Grand Forks team was able to supply their client with over 200 leads. Sonyx Solutions then emailed that list of leads an offer of $300 off their next fence to help secure even more sales.
The Leighton – Grand Forks team was able to pull in $3,250 in revenue through this promotion and over 50 new opt-ins for their promotions and VIP email list – and one very happy client!
